V JORNADA LEASING E FACTORING NA ERA DIGITAL, 13FEB2020 – LISBOA

On 13th February 2020 took place the 5th edition of the Factoring technology day in Lisbon, “La cidade da Luz”. On this particular occasion it included also the Leasing management technology, with the contribution of ORACLE and with a scope of collaboration from Portugal and Spain.

The deep engagement of the Portuguese Association ALF, The international Association FCI along with Efcom GmbH, Oracle and Datacomp ensured a challenging and interacting arena to match the Receivables Finance Business and the IT Technology opportunities.

100+ representatives from 30 different organizations from Portugal, Spain and Germany
participated in the event, making it the most attended “portuñol” event of the year as well as our most attended edition, proving the interest of the topics covered.

Hot buzz-words such as Artificial Intelligence, BigData, Machine Learning, Blockchain, KYC, were presented, debated and its practical applications for the receivables industry demonstrated to ensure a proper response to the unavoidable challenge of FINTECHS.

The human involvement is the key factor in the current digitalization transformation and change experienced by all financial institutions.
The Spanish-Portuguese IMM Institute for Change Management delivered a powerful message to as what is required to cope with the challenges of digital transformation.

The day closed with a very open Round Table led by the ALF represented by Isabel BARROSO DE SOUSA and on top, with several individual workshops on specific digital factoring topics at the request of several financial institutions.
